Group sizes for some events are limited to reduce the impact on the environment and to ensure a quality experience.  Please book early to avoid disappointment.  

Refund Policy: There is a “No Refund” policy for events after May 1, 2025. If you must cancel, please accept our thanks and consider it a donation to the sustainability of the festival (a tax receipt will be issued). In the event that Creston Valley Bird Festival organizers must cancel an event, a full refund will apply.

Be Weatherwise: Events go ahead rain or shine.  Bring your binoculars, camera, good walking shoes, sunscreen, water, and a jacket.  

Waiver Form: All tours require a waiver form which must be filled out at time of registration.  You’ll receive a link to fill out the waiver by email after registering. If you do not complete one online, they will be available at the Festival Registration Desk.

Meals:  If you have dietary concerns please email info@crestonvalleybirds.ca 

Meeting Places:  Your registration confirmation email will have links to the locations for each event. Please plan your route in advance and allow for adequate travel time to event locations to avoid being late.

Wildsight volunteers are a very special group of people who give generously of their time to stuff envelopes, attend rallies, help run events, put up posters, keep tabs on forestry practices in their communities and participate in citizen science initiatives.
