Backyard Tours

The Backyard Tour is the perfect fun and educational experience for people of all ages! This 3 hour guided, personalized tour of your property will be led by a professional, local and experienced naturalist. You will learn what plants, bugs and animals share your home as well as discover your property’s unique natural values and practical ways you can learn to help protect local biodiversity on your own slice of paradise. You will also get the chance to participate in your own Citizen Scientist assessment on the health of your property. This tour makes the perfect gift for friends, family and clients!

Meeting location: A Wild Nature Tours professional naturalist will meet you at the property to be toured unless other arrangements are made.
What to bring: An inquisitive mind! And appropriate clothes for the weather as tours will run in all conditions. A camera and notepad are also recommended.
Included: Snack, drinks and any required equipment.
Cost: $250.

Wildsight volunteers are a very special group of people who give generously of their time to stuff envelopes, attend rallies, help run events, put up posters, keep tabs on forestry practices in their communities and participate in citizen science initiatives.
