Camp Odyssey

Registration for Camp Odyssey is OPEN!

Our incredibly popular Camp Odyssey is back for another summer! During this nature-based summer day camp, kids spend their days outdoors; hiking, exploring, gardening, learning wilderness survival skills, making crafts, playing games and more.

Camp Odyssey offers weeklong day camps and single-day camps throughout July and August in Kimberley and Cranbrook. This is a great opportunity to have your children outside, in a safe, structured and fun environment.

KIMBERLEY CAMPS

July 5-9: 5-8 year-olds, Marysville

July 26-30: 7-12 year-olds, Kimberley Nature Park

Aug 9-13: 7-12 year-olds, Kimberley Nature Park

Camp Odyssey has two locations in Kimberley this year. The older group of 7-12 year-olds is based out of Kimberley Independent School (KIS). Campers will spend time in the Kimberley Nature Park, Kimberley Community Garden, and along Rails to Trails. Each Day begins at KIS and ends at the Kimberley Splash Park (Rotary Park).

New for 2021 is a separate week for 5-8 year-olds, with a little less walking. This group will call the Lions Park in Marysville “home base” and visit different locations within Marysville each day.

Please note that the older group will walk approx. 2-6 km throughout the day and the younger group can expect to walk approx. 1-3 km. Indoor washroom facilities may not be available every day, so campers will learn how to use bush bathrooms.

CRANBROOK CAMP

July 19-23: 7-12 year-olds, Cranbrook Community Forest

Camp Odyssey is based out of the Cranbrook Alliance Church for one week in 2021. Days will be spent in the Cranbrook Community Forest. Full week and daily registrations are available now.

Please note that the older group will walk approx. 2-6 km throughout the day and the younger group can expect to walk approx. 1-3 km. Indoor washroom facilities may not be available every day, so campers will learn how to use bush bathrooms.
