Kimberley Farmers' Market CoordinatorSparta loves to create good times for the community and talk about all the things, come say hi during the market! Otherwise, you’ll find Sparta struggling up hills on her mountain bike, kicking up dust on Luna, her beloved dual-sport motorcycle, or singing an ode to powder days as she carves the slopes. -

EducatorPatty is in her element when teaching outdoor education and enjoys helping young people find meaningful connections to their natural environment. She enjoys spending time with her family hiking, skiing, canoeing and exploring many of the wild places in BC and beyond. -

Food Program CoordinatorAshley grew up in Fernie surrounded by the natural wonder of the Elk Valley. She now pursues her passion for environmental sustainability through local food production. EducatorKim brings plenty of enthusiasm and passion for outdoor activities and connecting people with the natural world. With a background in Environmental Education and Communications, she brings a varied skillset of community engagement, program development, and volunteer management. -

Program AssistantRachel is pursuing a degree in ecology and loves being outside and all things ocean-related. She has lived in the Kimberley-Cranbrook area for most of her life, and is super excited to work with Wildsight this summer!

Branch Board TreasurerDaniel grew up in Cranbrook skiing, backpacking, climbing, and enjoying the outdoors every opportunity he could get. After graduating from Royal Roads University, he returned to the Kootenays eventually moving back to his home mountain of Kimberley. -
Alexis Campbell
Branch Board DirectorAlexis grew up in northern Manitoba alongside the polar bears, beluga whales, and northern lights. Naturally, this inspired a love for adventure and a passion for protecting wild spaces. -
Dean Chatterson
Branch Board DirectorProudly born and raised in Kimberley, Dean retired from teaching in 2004. He has always enjoyed the outdoor life in the Kootenays and treasured the natural ecosystems that surround us. His involvement with Wildsight is the best fit for preserving and protecting the things he values. -

Want to protect wildlife, clean water and wild spaces? Volunteer with us! Wildsight volunteers are a very special group of people who give generously of their time to stuff envelopes, attend rallies, help run events, put up posters, keep tabs on forestry practices in their communities and participate in citizen science initiatives.
