A celebration of all things community:
connection, local businesses, delicious food
We are delighted to invite you to join us for our second annual Field to Fork fundraiser. Field to Fork is a celebratory event inspired by the 100-mile diet where everything, including wine, art, and music, comes from our community and the surrounding areas.
When:
Wednesday, September 20, 2023
6:00 pm – 9:00 pm
Where:
Biscuit: A Place to Sup
180 Spokane St., Kimberley
Savour local flavours
Biscuit‘s Chef Ryan will be offering a menu of delicious canapés, grazing plates, and desserts that honour this unique growing region. The patio bar will also be flowing with mead, beer, and signature cocktails inspired by local flavours. Key ingredients will be sourced from local fields, farms, and food producers—travelling less than 100 miles before it lands on your fork. Those contributing to this wonderful feast include:
- Over Time Beer Works
- Bohemian Spirits
- Pommier Ranch Meadery
- Niwas Rustic Bread
- We be Farmin’
- Edible Acres
- Apple Quill Farm
- Cranbrook Food Recovery
- Kimberley Food Recovery
- Bear’s Pie Factory
Feast your eyes (and ears) on local art
This evening of connection will be supported by delightful music provided by the Wild Fillies. With the melodic background music setting the scene, it will be hard not to get lost in the silent auction canvas print “Guiding Hands” provided by Joseph Cross while daydreaming of your own trip into the woods. It’s also the perfect atmosphere to contemplate, and discuss, the health of our natural environment while mulling over the silent auction digital artwork “The Decline & Disappearance of the South Purcell Mountain Caribou” provided by Grant Smith.
