Lesson 9 - Student Action Projects

Water is a precious resource that takes time, energy and money to treat and deliver to communities, and to clean and return safely to the water cycle. Know Your Watershed hopes to raise awareness about how we all need to work together to ensure that we just use the water we need, and that all our creeks and rivers in the Columbia Basin stay clean and healthy. I
Watch Know Your Watershed educator Dave Quinn as he describes some of the amazing Student Action Projects that have been part of the program through the years.

Then complete this activity, a simple, home based action plan that you and your family can do to become more aware of your water use- and to inspire you to conserve water in and around your home.
