Community Outreach Booth

Throughout the year, Wildsight Invermere, staff, volunteers, members, and Board Members attend public events throughout the Columbia Valley. We have recently updated our public outreach booth with new interactive and interpretive displays. Catch us around the valley!

Just a few of the events we’ve attended:

  • David Thompson Secondary School Earth Day Fair
  • JA Laird Environmental Science Fair
  • Mosaic Mountain Arts Festival
  • Invermere Canada Day Celebrations
  • Invermere Farmer’s Market
  • Lake Windermere Summer Splash
  • Columbia Salmon Festival
  • Ursus & Us: Bear Day

If you love sharing your enthusiasm for the environment, email or phone us to help out at one of our Community Outreach Booths – no previous experience necessary!

Ursus and Us – Bear Awareness Day, organized by Wildsight Invermere, Wildsafe BC, Black Star Studios, DOI, held at Cenotaph square at heart of Invermere, BC
