STILLPOINT FESTIVAL

September 17-19, 2026 • Kimberley, BC

Film • Art • Community • Nature

It all started with a bold idea and a chance.

Wildsight Kimberley Cranbrook won a special opportunity to host a one-of-a-kind Summit Screening during the Banff Centre Mountain Film Festival World Tour’s 50th anniversary. As planning got underway, we realized the mountaintop venue had a limited capacity. Instead of creating an experience for just a few people, we asked ourselves:

“How can we turn this into something bigger for the whole community?”

The Stillpoint Festival was born to gather, celebrate summer, connect through stories, and imagine what’s possible—together.

Three Days • Multiple Sites • One Shared Experience

We believe meaningful experiences should be accessible.

Stillpoint includes a range of ticket options, from low-cost community events to premium mountaintop experiences, creating different ways for people to take part. A number of Summit Screening tickets will be made available through community raffles.

By growing beyond a single screening and inviting more collaborators into the festival, we create more value for participants, more opportunities for partners, and stronger support for Wildsight’s environmental work!

THE FLAGSHIP EVENT – SATURDAY NIGHT

Sponsorship and collaboration opportunities

A sponsorship package will be available shortly. Stay tuned!

We’re looking for businesses and individuals who would like to contribute through financial support, prize donations, or donated services.

If you’d like to learn more about this unique opportunity to support the community, make a meaningful impact, and gain visibility, please reach out to Sparta Humphreys at kimcranfundraise@wildsight.ca.

VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES

Volunteer opportunities will be available both in the lead-up to the festival and during the festival itself.

Before the festival, we’ll be looking for help with fundraising and building awareness in the community — connecting with the public, local businesses, and partner organizations.

During the festival, we’ll need support with production (setup and takedown), ticketing, base and summit attendants, and helping welcome and guide guests.

As a thank you, volunteers will receive access to select ticketed festival events. The summit screening will only be accessible to the limited volunteer roles required onsite and, due to expected demand, those positions will be assigned by lottery.

If you’d like to volunteer, REGISTER HERE and we’ll be in touch!

Contest

We’ll also be launching a broader volunteer challenge across all Wildsight Kimberley Cranbrook programs! Volunteer hours accumulated between July 1 and September 10 (minimum 5 hours) will earn entries into a draw for tickets to the Banff Film Fest World Tour Summit Screening.

Volunteer opportunities eligible for the draw will include the Community Garden, Farmers’ Market, park and infrastructure maintenance, the Apple Capture Program, festival support, and other Wildsight Kim/Cran activities throughout the summer.

Stay tuned for more details, and thank you for helping make our community a little more vibrant!
