We have made the decision to scale back the festival and remain committed to bringing Stillpoint to life on Saturday, September 19, with a screening of Banff World Tour films at the Kimberley Conference Centre alongside other offerings. STILLPOINT FESTIVAL
Stillpoint is a festival and fundraiser for Wildsight Kimberley Cranbrook celebrating art, nature, and community through storytelling built around a screening of Banff World Tour films at Kimberley Alpine Resort. Join us on September 19 to celebrate the end of summer and support Wildsight Kimberley Cranbrook’s local education, conservation, and regeneration projects.

Buckle up for a ski season in Japan, a calling to design log hives for honey bees, a window into the hardships and joys of adaptive mountain biking, a downhill battle with the elements, a climbing journey surmounting all odds, and a romantic (?) 69-day “vacation” across Baffin Island.

CK9 Studios’ Wildfire and Embers screening, followed by a Q&A and industry discussion with filmmakers Simon Shave (Wildfire), Trixie Pacis (Embers) and Adam Smallwood (RDEK Emergency Management) exploring how film can be a powerful medium for sharing environmental stories in climate-affected communities.

Stillpoint Raffles – CANCELLED
It is with deep regret that Wildsight Kimberley/Cranbrook has made the difficult decision to cancel the Stillpoint Summit Screening and mountaintop experiences originally planned for September 19 as well as the Expanded Farmers’ Market and Kootenay Film Celebration planned for September 17 and 18.
We have received permission to cancel our Round 3 Prize Draw, and reimburse ticket purchases from our Round 2 Prize Draw. Winners from the Round 1 Prize Draw will be offered a cash prize alternative for the same prize value. We will be taking the actions necessary as quickly as possible.

VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES
Volunteer opportunities will be available during the festival. We are seeking support with production (setup and takedown), ticketing attendants, and ushers. As a thank you, volunteers will receive access to screenings.
