Wyatt is the Science Policy Advisor for Wildsight, where he volunteers his time examining the intersection between scientific research and policy implementation. Born and raised in Calgary, Wyatt spent most of his free time exploring the mountain tops, old-growth forests, and everything in between in the East Kootenay. Wyatt graduated in 2018 with a B.Sc. (Honours First Class) in Geology and Geophysics from the University of Calgary, followed by an M.Sc. from the University of Calgary in 2021. Wyatt is currently a Ph.D. student at Yale University. His primary research focus is on examining ecological resilience and extinction risk throughout Earth’s history.
