Simon is a former mineral exploration geologist and the current Mining Policy and Impacts Researcher for Wildsight. Growing up near Invermere, he gained an appreciation for the mountains and a love of spending time in nature, whether he is hiking, trail running, fossil hunting or cross country skiing. Always curious, he enjoys looking closely to develop understanding and is happy to be working to protect the Columbia Valley.
