Celebrate the season at the 8th annual Harvest Party taking place at the Kimberley Community Garden on Sunday, September 26. This Wildsight Kimberley Cranbrook event is a great chance to enjoy a beautiful afternoon in the garden, take home the bountiful harvest, and partake in a plethora of activities.
The Harvest Party will run between 1 pm–3 pm starting with a bear spray presentation by Danica Roussy of Wildsafe BC. There will be crafts, games, live apple juice pressing, and zucchini races (BYOZ – bring your own zucchini). The event will conclude with final awards for the Kimberley Helping Hands Food Bank spud bucket showdown (spud contenders in photo)!
This event will be managed by dedicated Wildsight Kimberley Cranbrook staff, contractors, and volunteers to ensure all participants feel safe during the Covid-19 pandemic. As per BC Ministry of Health’s legal requirements, this event can only host a maximum of 50 participants.
