Sami Bierman

With a background in local food systems and a passion for mental health and wellbeing, Sami understands food as a powerful tool to build healthier and more resilient communities. Serving as both the Branch Administrator and the Lead Grower for the new Evergreens Container Farm, Sami is excited to grow year-round produce for the community members of the Elk Valley. As a transplant from Montana, she enjoys spending her free time painting and exploring the rivers and mountains that surround Fernie.
