Join volunteer Wildsight Golden biologists on a driving/walking tour of a few old growth forests stands near Golden. Meet at Reflection Lake Wildlife Viewing platform.
Come and enjoy the beauty of these old forests and learn about their unique features. It is urgent that these old forests remain on the landscape for future generations.
We’ll be driving on forest service roads and doing a bit of bushwhacking so a vehicle with good clearance and sturdy footwear is recommended, although we will not walk more than 1-2km.
Bring your lunch and drinks.
Waivers must be signed and all current COVID protocols will be followed.
It is best to arrange your own car pooling.
