We’re replacing the six faded and damaged interpretive signs that we installed in 2014. Are you handy with tools? Our lead volunteer Aaron Nickerson would like some able hands to help screw in and glue the new signs along the boardwalk trail. Due to COVID, we would also require you to bring along a mask and gloves to ensure safety as we do the work. There’s a Youth Crew from Recreation Sites and Trails BC working on trail rehabilitation at Lake Enid this summer and they will help us put one of the signs back in the ground at the same time.
Please email Karen at Invermere@wildsight.ca to confirm your participation and details for July 21 at 11am. We’ll be organizing another volunteer opportunity later in August, together with Recreation Sites and Trails BC and the Wilmer Community Club. So stay tuned for that!
