Apple season is here! Join Wildsight Kimberley Cranbrook for our CRANBROOK volunteer apple picking and pressing on Saturday August 24.

Looking for apples, juice, or an opportunity to contribute? Meet us at 10 am at the Cranbrook Public Produce Garden for a community apple picking and pressing. Wildsight will be coordinating volunteers to pick trees on our Tree Share Board, capture food and reduce food attractants for wildlife. Then we will mill and press the bounty into delicious juice, wrapping up at 2pm!

The event schedule is as follows:

10:00am to 10:30am – Meet at the Cranbrook Community Garden for introductions, team building, and map handouts to local trees
10:30am to 12:00pm – Head out to local trees for picking!
12:00pm – 2:00pm – Meet back at the Cranbrook Community Garden to press apples in to delicious juice!

All participants are welcome to take home pressed juice, and any additional juice left over will be donated to the Foodbank. Open to all ages!
