Kimberley & Cranbrook Branch
Location:
Centre 64

Join Wildsight Kimberley Cranbrook for our 2018 Branch AGM, featuring an address on Environmental Optimism by Kimberley’s own happiness guru, Ingrid Liepa! The event kicks off on Tuesday, April 17th at 7 pm at the Centre 64 studio.

Ingrid will be opening the evening with a short presentation on maintaining a positive outlook while facing today’s environmental issues, and finding the motivation to make sustainable choices and advocate for the causes we hold dear. In the brief AGM to follow, branch Board Directors and staff will review results from our 2018 Member Survey (take that here), offer details on our work this year and our plans for the next. Members are encouraged to attend, and to make their voice heard through their vote. A short tribute to long-time Go Wild volunteer Jenn Meens will honour her 10 years of coordination and the many students touched by the program.

This event is part of a week-long celebration of Earth Week, hosted by Wildsight Kimberley Cranbrook (poster below).

A special resolution to amend our branch bylaws will be presented at the AGM for approval by the membership. The proposed changes are intended to be in compliance with the new provincial Societies Act, and also to modernize our current bylaws.
