Clone of Wild and Scenic Film Fest World Tour on the Big Screen in Invermere

The Wild & Scenic Film Festival World Tour is stopping in Invermere on Nov 28th and 29th with a cinematic extravaganza set in wild landscapes around the world. Join Wildsight for a journey to spectacular places and watch tales of adventurers living life outside. The films are meant to inform, to inspire and to ignite your creativity.

Saturday night will also feature our special guest, Barry Blanchard, world renowned Canmore alpinist and guide, with a multimedia presentation based on his new book, The Calling: A Life Rocked by Mountains. Books will be available for purchase.

With the Best of the Banff Film Festival World Tour in Invermere selling out every year, Wildsight is excited to bring another inspiring and exciting film fest to the area. The Wild & Scenic Film Fest is North America’s largest environmental film festival, and will play on a big screen at the Invermere Community Hall with 15 films, including 3 from BC, over two evenings.

And we promise it will be the biggest and the best pre-Xmas event. There will be COOL MOUNTAIN PEOPLE, a Cash Bar both nights, Pizza from Peppi’s (on Saturday 6pm), great DOOR PRIZES and a RAFFLE. (see raffle items and the programme at bottom of page).
