The Wild & Scenic Film Festival is Wildsight Invermere’s annual, awesome fundraiser. It’s one BIG night of films, story telling, shared food and drink, and friends (that’s you!). Come early and mix and mingle from 5-6:30 pm while enjoying pizza, movie treats, a range of beverages and the lively company of new friends and familiar faces from our wonderful mountain community. A special looped slide show highlighting our community and our landscape plays on the big screen during that time. It’s more than just eye candy…. it’s full of inspiration and information!
With seven short documentary films to fill the evening, you’ll laugh, sigh, be inspired, provoked and entertained by a cast of characters – human and otherwise! – from all over the world. You’ll be transported rom BC to Kenya, Patagonia, South Africa, Fiji and Hollywood!
Since the film fest is our big fun fundraiser, there will also be opportunities to bid in a live silent auction with more than 45 items. Amazing response from local businesses!
As Wildsight Invermere’s flagship fundraiser, the festival directly supports our conservation and climate action programs here in the Columbia Valley.
