On Saturday June 27th, Wildsight Golden will be hosting it’s 13th Annual Community Weed Pull along the Kicking Horse River. This annual event is part of Wildsight Golden’s Community Invasive Plant Program and is a family friendly opportunity for the community to come together to learn more about invasive plants and how to remove them while also helping to protect biodiversity and the natural ecology in our town.
We will be ‘pulling together’ as a community, while also following Covid-19 health guidelines set out by the province. We ask all volunteers to bring their own gardening gloves and to keep a physical distance of at least 6 feet from others. Wildsight Golden will be providing hand-sanitizer as well as tools and bags for this event. Please dress for the weather, bring some water and come ready to work!
