Wildsight will be participating in a wildlife management roundtable with the East Kootenay Wildlife Association, the Elk Valley Rod and Gun Club, the Southern Guide Outfitters, The Shuswap Band and the BC Backcountry Hunters & Anglers. The event will start with an overview of the current state of wildlife in the area. All election candidates from Columbia River-Revelstoke and Kootenay East Ridings will be invited to attend to present 5 minutes each on their views on wildlife, as will the participating organizations. The event is focused on wildlife management and habitat protection with the aim to share common interests. The roundtable format will not allow for questions from the audience as the aim to share views and not debate.
The roundtable runs from 1-3pm.
