Do you spend time out on the trails or in the backcountry and want to learn more about the wildlife around you? Join Wildsight on May 29 to hear from two wildlife experts sharing information geared specifically toward those who move through our valleys and mountains on foot, wheels or water.

Madeleine Wrazej grew up in Invermere and is an avid trail runner, backcountry skier and climber. She’ll be sharing her master’s research on the impacts of non-motorized recreation on mountain goats in Banff and Yoho national parks.

Jeremy Ayotte will be sharing his perspective as coordinator of the BC Sheep Separation Program, a partnership designed to reduce the risk of disease transmission from domestic to wild sheep in the province.

Presentations will be followed by an opportunity to ask questions and share perspectives. This event is free, but space is limited. Please register to save your seat.

Wild Spaces Recreation Dialogues is a series of Wildsight-hosted events happening this spring in Golden, Radium and Fernie. Visit wildsight.ca/events for more information.
