This unique opportunity will take you into one of BC’s long-term rangeland exclosures. Join Rangeland Ecologist Gail Berg, who has studied geography and biology, and has worked globally, including in Tibet, to see first hand the result of a very common practice on our own landscape.
You will visit a grazed area and a non-grazed area to learn about the effects of animal grazing on native vegetation, and see how the practice of grazing affects the plant communities at each space.
