September 18, 10am – Creston Valley Wildlife Management Area
Each spring, Wildsight Creston Valley installs a temporary fence to help protect Western Painted Turtles from crossing West Creston Road during nesting season. In the fall, we take it down to prevent damage from snow removal. The work involves rolling up wire fencing and removing rebar posts, with some walking on uneven ground. We’d love for you to join us! Your volunteer support makes a real difference for turtle conservation!
