Winter is still here yet some of us are thinking ahead to the growing season. Join us on Saturday March 12 from 1-4 pm along with the Kimberley Public Library to connect, exchange, and learn!
What can you expect?
In previous years we have hosted an early afternoon get together with activities, get to know the seed library information areas, and mini presentations. This year is shaping up to be a hybrid of seed exchange drop ins and opportunities to enjoy a local special guest presenter. Expert grower Alan Bowler, of Root for Me fame, will be giving a talk on “How to Grow in Kimberley” at 2:00 pm. The presentation will be recorded and posted later on our Facebook page, Instagram and Website for those that are unable to attend.
As always Seedy Saturday is FREE to attend and will be hosted in partnership with the Kimberley Public Library – host of our local Kimberley Seed Library.
What is the Kimberley Seed Library?
A way to borrow and contribute locally viable seed to our community seed bank.
