Explore the fascinating world of wildlife crossings and their impact on road safety and nature. Join us for a community event on March 14, Reconnecting the Rockies: Bridging Nature & Roads on Highway 3, brought to you by Wildsight Elk Valley and Y2Y.

The Elk Valley is a vital corridor for grizzlies, elk, and more, connecting Banff National Park and Glacier-Waterton International Peace Park. Highway 3 poses challenges for wildlife here, resulting in deadly collisions. Up to 200 large animals are lost each year, and there are costs to people, too.

Hear from local experts about ongoing projects along Highway 3 to help wildlife and communities — and learn how you can make a difference.

This event is free and open to all, but you must RSVP to secure your spot.
