Apple season is here! Join Wildsight Kimberley Cranbrook for our second volunteer apple picking and pressing of the season this October 21st and 22nd.
PICK! – Looking for apples or an opportunity to contribute? Meet us at 11 am on Saturday the 21st for a community apple picking. Wildsight will be coordinating volunteers to pick trees on our Tree Share Board, capture food and reduce food attractants for wildlife.
PRESS! – Looking to make something of your apples? On Sunday the 22nd, we’ll meet to mill & press apples into delicious juice from 11 am-3 pm.
The meeting and pressing location will be Kimberley’s Open Gate Garden, located behind the Aquatic Centre. Join us for just one day, or both! Participants are encouraged to take some of the products of our labour home. A portion of apples and juice will be donated to families in need.
