Nature Walk: Thompson Pack Trail

Meet at the trailhead at the end of Vance Road- at the lowest trailhead for the Pack Trail. It is just north of 52nd street in Canyon.

These walks are family friendly and will explore various trails and habitats in the Creston Valley. Come out to learn about the ecology of the Creston Valley and have fun!

This walk will take place from 9:00–11:00 am on Saturday, July 30, 2022 at the Thompson Pack Trail. We will walk to the first Sullivan Creek bridge and back.  The walk gains 200m in elevation and is a 3 km return trip.  The trail pass through a fire mitigation block and enters a shady forest for most of the walk. We will meet at the end of Vance Road. Bring extra layers, snacks, water and your curiosity.
