Golden’s 15th Annual Community Weed Pull Event

Summer is here, and it’s time once again for our Annual Community Weed Pull Event!
All members of the community and surrounding area are welcome to join us for a day of teamwork and community spirit! This is a family friendly opportunity for the community to come together to learn more about invasive plants and how to remove them, while also helping to protect biodiversity and natural ecology in our town. The event will be run by Wildsight Golden’s Community Invasive Plant Program Coordinator, Ashley Lang, as well as the Columbia Shuswap Invasive Species Society.
As a special thank you to our hardworking volunteers, a free lunch will be provided! To ensure all volunteers are provided a lunch, please RSVP to this event by emailing Ashley at: wildsightweedprogram@gmail.com.
Once you have registered, the meeting location and more information for the Weed Pull will be sent out to you via email. Gloves and tools will be provided (if you have your own you are encouraged to bring them). We look forward to seeing you there!
