Spring has sprung and it’s time to get buzzing in the garden!
Join us for a free garden tour and discover all that our community space has to offer.
Food Program Coordinator Ashley Lortscher will guide visitors through the demonstration garden, highlighting various spaces and sharing how the site builds the knowledge and skills needed to grow food at home.
Or roll up your sleeves and join our Worker Bees!
Spend a couple of hours helping Ashley wake the garden for the season ahead. No previous gardening experience is required—this is both an opportunity to learn and support a local food sustainability initiative alongisde like-minded locals. Tools will be provided; just bring a water bottle and, if you can, your own work gloves.
Whether you come to explore or to dig in, it’s a wonderful way to enjoy some fresh air and celebrate Earth Day together.
