Invermere Branch
Location:
Wilmer Wetlands, Ritchie's Point parking lot, Westside Road north of Wilmer

Please join Wildsight Invermere in celebrating the completion of four new interpretive signs at the entrance to the Wilmer Unit of the National Wildlife Area, locally known as Ritchie’s Point.

Our  partners in the project include Environment Canada, Ktunaxa Nation, and Shuswap Indian Band. The project was generously supported by the RDEK, Columbia Basin Trust, and Environment Canada. Our Wildsight Invermere team would also like to acknowledge the contributions of Rachel Darvill, Mary Harding, John Pitcher, Ross MacDonald, Larry Halverson, Pat Morrow, Denise Hoffgaard Photography, and Mandi McRobbie (SwiftKick Art+Design).  As with all Wildsight Invermere projects, many volunteer hours and services went into making this happen.

Join us for coffee and cookies, take a look at the fabulous new signs and hear from our project partners on the significance of the area and the importance of our work together. Everyone is welcome! For more info: invermere@wildsight.ca
