Join us from the comfort of your own home on Thursday Oct 21 2021, 7-8 pm for our 2020/21 Fiscal Year AGM and presentation with Bruce Murdoch!

The evening starts at 7 pm with our 2020/21 AGM. This will be your opportunity to check in with us to see how the financials are looking, learn about successes and challenges, as well as connect with the faces of the organization. As always we will be hosting our Board Member elections. Please note that only members will be able to vote during the AGM. Sign up to become a member if you aren’t already.

Directly following the meeting Bruce Murdoch takes the screen to present the Roadmap to Net Zero. Bruce has experience with net zero, because he is living it! Currently designing a Net Zero Demonstration Home in Cranbrook, his creation will be used for Net Zero certification into the future.

About our presenter: Bruce Murdoch, B. Comm, Certified Housing Professional, Owner/Manager K-Country Homes

Upon university graduation, Bruce worked for a decade in finance at a major Canadian steel company before embarking as a building entrepreneur.

Bruce has been in the renovation and new home building industry in Cranbrook for more than 30 years. He is a licensed new home builder and a Certified Housing Professional with a focus on energy efficient design and construction.

He is a member of the Canadian Home Builders’ Association and the Cranbrook Climate Hub.

He is currently designing a Net Zero Demonstration Home in Cranbrook which will be used for Net Zero certification. Construction begins in October.
