Wildsight Invermere AGM 2025

Location:
Wilmer Community Hall
Address:
West Ave, Wilmer

Join us on Monday, March 31st, at 7pm for our 2025 AGM at the Wilmer Community Hall.

The Wildsight Invermere team has worked hard in 2024, and the Annual General Meeting is an opportunity for you to not only hear about what we accomplished but also to connect with your mountain community.

At the AGM, you’ll meet our Program Manager, our seven Board members, and other dedicated volunteers, past and present.

You will hear updates about our programs that fall under the three themes of our strategic plan– Climate Change, Conservation, and Community. Our 2024 projects included the Columbia Lake Bighorn Sheep habitat and conservation project, the Rethink Resilience project (with six workshops and events that addressed the importance of climate change solutions and adaptation), and the ongoing success of Spark, our electric car share program, now in its 6th year. We’ll also screen a short video about the bighorn sheep project.

We look forward to this year’s AGM because it’s also a chance for us to thank you, in person, for your support, whether you’re a monthly donor, a volunteer or a curious bystander. We hope that by coming and hearing about what we’ve been up to over the last year, you will be inspired to get more involved. After all, Wildsight Invermere has a rich history of 35 years and continues to thrive because of people like you.

If you need a ride to get to the Wilmer Hall, we’ll be facilitating carpooling. Just get in touch: invermere@wildsight.ca or 250-409-5708.

See you on March 31st at the Wilmer Community Hall. Better yet, bring a friend! Everyone is welcome. There will be home-baked goodies, refreshments and good mountain vibes.
