Did you enjoy hiking pre-kids and now wish to continue with kids, but aren’t sure where or how to start?

Wildsight Invermere is running an ‘intro to hiking with kids’ hike this Sunday Oct 6th from 9am – 11:30am(ish). It’s a free event for families with kids around 3 to 11 years old (older & younger are welcome too).

Location: the east side of Lake Enid and onto a wide ridge just north of Enid.
We’ll be walking along the east side of Lake Enid over rolling hills and then onto a beautiful wide ridge with 360 degree views of the valley and yes, larches!

The walk includes disussions on how to motivate little legs to keep moving forward, information on other great short hikes to do with little people in the valley, what to pack for hiking with kids, and good company! Participants are welcome to complete the whole hike or turn back if/when the little leaders dictate it’s time to go 😉
