Brianna Thompson

Brianna was born and raised in Calgary spending her summers camping, hiking and biking and generally falling in love with adventuring outside. 

After completing a Master’s in Land and Water Systems in Vancouver she fell in love with community development when she started her own not-for-profit urban food security farm. She had the privilege of being able to support many youth volunteers in learning about how to grow food, support pollinators, and revel in the natural world around them. 

She is brand new to the area and working as the Coordinator for WK YCC is a dream come true in melding her love of land stewardship with community.
