WINTER WONDER: K–3
Half-day program in nearby nature
Winter is not a dormant season; it is a time of vibrant ecological activity, where survival strategies and adaptations are on full display. Our Winter Wonder program offers students a chance to study snow science, animal tracks, and the ways in which flora and fauna adapt to cold temperatures. We invite you to step outside the classroom and into the winter wilds, where every snowflake and animal track tells a story waiting to be discovered. Join us in making winter a season of exploration, discovery, and wonder!

CLASSROOM WITH OUTDOORS: Grades 4–7
Full-Day program in local wild ecosystems
Imagine a classroom without walls, where nature itself becomes the textbook, and every student is an explorer. Our full-day Classroom with Outdoors program offers a unique opportunity for your students to immerse themselves in the diverse habitats of local grasslands, wetlands, and forests. This hands-on experience is designed to deepen their understanding of ecology, inspire a passion for nature, and foster environmental stewardship!

Wildsight delivers a suite of scientifically-rooted and highly engaging programs led by professional environmental educators. It costs a great amount to run programming like this. However, we know not every school can afford to bring in outside educators to support student learning. Our model for 2024-25 Wildsight Education programs is to offer as many free programs as we can (bussing not included), and subsidized programs as we are able. If you are in a school lucky enough to have a healthy budget and ample funds to cover field trips, we would value your financial support for programs. Every child deserves to spend time in nature!
