Nav Smith

Nav loves being outside. She likely has her parents to blame: Growing up immersed in the wonderful chaos of a family-run guiding company. She has had several incredible mentors over the years, inspiring her to study bears on the Central Coast, learn from buffalo reintroduction in the Rockies, and caretake a backcountry cabin in the Kootenays. Along the way, Nav found it a rewarding extension of her work to advocate for and teach about the environment she felt privileged to work and recreate in. Nav lives on a farm outside of Nelson, with her partner, their 2 dogs, and over 200 chickens
