Matt Coté

Matt is Wildsight’s communications and engagement lead. He has a background in journalism and marketing strategy, sharpened by years spent working with the outdoor industry’s top brands. He’s been an editor at several magazines and published everything from contemplative essays about the human psyche to deep features about this planet’s wildest places. His work has focused on the intersection of land management and recreation, and he’s now turned his story instincts towards protecting the irreplaceable nature of his home ranges here in the Columbia Mountains.
