Branch Board Director

Creston Valley Branch

Jess (she/her) grew up in the tiny town of Gold Bridge, BC – a remote community nestled between forest covered mountains and large lakes in the St’at’imc territory. With a childhood immersed in nature, her curiosities brought her to the University of Victoria where she pursued studies, and graduated with honours, from the biology department. Her education and experiences shifted her lens revealing the clearcut mountain sides and flooded valleys of her home. Jess is now dedicated to contribute to research, develop further understanding, and apply conservation strategies to the wild places of her home province. She has held a variety of roles which have brought her from mountain tops to valley bottom wetlands and the ocean coastline. Jess is excited to contribute to Wildsight in the Creston Valley to help advocate and steward for the area she now calls home.
