Hasi Muhandiram

Hasi grew up in a rural village in Sri Lanka, surrounded by nature. Drawn to a place where nature is still part of everyday life, he arrived in the Kootenays with his wife and daughter in 2024. Photography and the beautiful backroads of the Kootenays are where he spends his free time.

For thirteen years, Hasi held senior leadership roles in the apparel and fashion industry across Sri Lanka, Bangladesh and Africa, on both the brand and manufacturing sides. He holds an MBA from Cardiff Metropolitan University (UK) and recently completed a Post-Degree Diploma in Sustainable Business at College of the Rockies. He now contributes his experience across the real estate and business consultancy sectors in Cranbrook, and also serves on the boards of the Cranbrook Food Bank and the Kimberley Nature Park Society.

He joined Wildsight for the simplest reason: to help build a brighter future for the community his daughter is growing up in and to keep the land that holds it whole.
