Get Wild! Camp Counsellor
Golden Branch
From Vancouver Island to Golden, Ha fell in love with British Columbia and decided to take roots in Canada in 2017. She has been working in Golden for three years and is very excited about her role as the Camp Counsellor for the Get Wild! summer camp this year.
Holding a MSci. in Environmental Studies degree with a major in Conservation Biology from the Antioch University New England, Ha spent 4 years studying plant phenology and plant-pollinator relationships in Bat Cave, North Carolina, USA, as well as local projects in Southern Vietnam. As a naturalist, she hopes to gain more experience working with children and being involved in projects relating to environmental education and local community services in Golden. Ha is currently working towards an education assistant certificate at the College of the Rockies.
You can find Ha volunteering at the Golden Food Bank Society, tending to her garden beds or at home with her indoor plants, holding an interesting book.
