Monica Taylor

Monica stumbled across Golden whilst backpacking through the rockies in 2021 and has been gravitating back ever since. With several years of travel under her belt, she is delighted to be planting some roots in our wonderful community, and combining her passion for environmental sustainability with the outdoor livelihood this beautiful part of the world offers.
Monica brings experiences from government to care work to tourism, as well as her MSci in Biology and various international environmental field work. She is particularly excited to contribute to biodiversity and conservation projects, as well as tackling sustainable transport.
An avid hiker and skier, she spends most of her spare time in the mountains but you may also find her befriending the local cats or floating in the Columbia River.
