We are pleased to host a magical 3hr guided outdoor workshop to find, identify and learn about wild medicinal plants in our local Provincial Park and area.

Join Sherri Mariash the lady behind small-batch medicine business ‘Wild Earth Medicinals’. She lives off-grid among cedar forests to grow and gather all the medicinal plants used in her herbal offerings.

The foundation of her practice is rooted in respecting the ecological, social, and spiritual aspects of Nature. Being mindful of the surroundings, following seasons, ecology of plants and continually cultivating a respectful relationship.

To Sherri, this is the practice of ethical harvesting, ensuring the highest quality of medicine and limiting any harmful effects to the ecosystem.

Sherri has been studying plant medicine through multiple teachers, schools & traditions for over 10 years. She completed the “The Alchemy of Herbal Medicine” an intermediate level training in herbal medicine on Salt Spring Island. With the School of Evolutionary Herbalism, she attended the “Vitalist Herbal Practitioner” program in class room over a two year period & online “Botanical Constellations” examining herbalism through astrology. During the Vitalist program she apprenticed in my teachers apothecary laboratory fine tuning her medicine making skills.

She will take us on a guided tour of our local medicinal plants, teach about wild medicine making and guide us through a 30 min focused sit with a special local plant.
