We are pleased to host a revelatory 2hr guided outdoor workshop to find, identify and learn about wild food in our area.

Join biologist Suzie Kathol for an adventure into the forest to see what food hides there.

Susie is a biologist and ecologist with experience in plants, wildlife, fungi and lichens of Western Canada. Her interest in foraging stems from early-childhood outings with her dad (also a biologist) as one of the best ways to connect with the environment and the ways it can sustain us.

As a biologist, Susie learned the identification and ecological management skills that allow her to continue to learn to forage in a safe and sustainable way. There’s always something new to discover in foraging!

When:
September 22nd, 2021 10:00 AM to  12:00 PM
