Our Nature Walks are family-friendly outings that explore a variety of trails and habitats throughout the Creston Valley. Come learn about local ecology, discover the plants and wildlife that call this area home, and enjoy time outdoors with your community.

Join us for a special guided nature walk on the Thompson Pack Trail in Creston. The walk will include a bear spray demonstration by Dee Howard, Creston’s Wildlife Coexistence Coordinator, providing practical information about staying safe and confident in bear country.

We will walk to the first Sullivan Creek bridge and return, covering approximately 2.5 km round trip with about 200 m of elevation gain. The trail passes through a fire mitigation area before entering a shady forest for most of the route. Please register in advance for this free event.

We look forward to exploring the trail with you!
