FutureMakers: Where science, creativity, and hope meet
Join Wildsight’s Dawn Deydey as we investigate an incredible resource that invites students to explore ways to build a resilient and climate-friendly future. Designed for Grades 4–7 classrooms, FutureMakers brings science, creativity and stories of hope together to allow students to explore the future of sustainable community design.
Using real-world examples and age-appropriate language, FutureMakers helps teach big ideas in a positive, engaging way. Through video lessons, extension activities and a hands-on design challenge, decision-making is put into students’ hands as they use their newfound knowledge to build a community that is hopeful, thriving and gentle on the planet.
