Six days, five nights. Endless exploration. In Go Wild!, students learn to be leaders while connecting with the wild landscapes that define our Kootenay communities.
Applications are open for this year’s program, running August 5–10 for teens aged 14–18. Under the guidance of two ACMG guides — professional skier Leah Evans and wildlife biologist Dave Quinn — participants will gain confidence, learn about mountain ecology and conservation, and develop essential backcountry skills such as map reading, route planning, wildlife safety and backcountry meal prep. Applications close June 1 and spaces will be filled on a first come, first served basis. Some financial assistance is available.
