It’s time to celebrate our recent win in the BC Court of Appeal!
In short: After years of court cases and appeals, the B.C. Court of Appeal ruled that Glacier Resort’s environmental certificate has expired and they cannot proceed with construction. Read more on the decision in our press release.
This is an important win for the Jumbo Valley and, after more than two decades, we are thrilled to invite you to join with Wildsight, Jumbo Creek Conservation Society, and Chief Alfred Joseph of Akisqnuk for a celebration of the community persistence and collaboration that has ensured that Jumbo / Qat’muk will stay wild.
Please join us for a community potluck and gathering:

- Location:
Akisqnuk Arbour, behind the Akisqnuk Band Hall at Windermere.
3050 BC-93, Windermere, BC V0B 2L2
