Grab your paddle for BC Rivers Day

Sunday, September 27, 2026 at 9.30am - 2.30pm
Invermere Branch
Location:
Launch in Invermere at the Athalmer boat launch (25 Laurier St). Pick up at Radium (Forsters Landing).

Rivers are the lifeblood of our country, and a worthy reason to get together on BC Rivers Day and paddle down the Columbia— one of North America’s great rivers. How fortunate we are to live at its headwaters.

As we dip our paddles into its Pacific-bound current, we’ll share stories and discuss the importance of healthy waterways, the wildlife and habitats they support, and what we can all do to help conserve these vital ecosystems.

Bring your own canoe/ kayak/ paddle board or rent one from our friends at Columbia River Paddle. They are also offering a shuttle bus back to Invermere. To book and pay for your optional boat/shuttle rental, CLICK HERE

No RSVP required, just grab your paddle and join us at 9:30am on September 27th at the Invermere Launch (25 Laurier St, Athalmer,). This event is in partnership with Lake Windermere Ambassadors.
