Celebrate BC Rivers Day! Join us on the Columbia River on an easy 3-4 hour paddle from Athalmer to Radium and experience the beauty of the Columbia Valley from a unique perspective.

BC Rivers Day coincides with World Rivers Day when millions of people in more than 70 countries create events to increase public awareness and encourage the improved stewardship of rivers around the world. This year marks the 40th anniversary of BC Rivers Day and according to Mark Angelo, its river-wise founder:

“rivers are the arteries of our planet; they are lifelines in the truest sense.”

Don’t have a boat? The good folks at Columbia River Paddle are offering special discounted rates for rentals of a canoe, kayak or SUP. See below for all details. They are also offering a shuttle from Radium back to Invermere.

This event is co-hosted by Lake Windermere Ambassadors.
